Altenahr
The Altenahr resort is located in the center of the Ahr valley at the foot of the ruins of Ahre castle, built in 1100 AD. Other attractions are Kreuzberg castle and the Romanesque town chapel. Take the chairlift for a scenic view of the valley. For those who prefer higher speeds the summer luge track is the right choice – great fun for all generations.

 
Ahrweiler
A visit to the Medieval village of Ahrweiler, with its completely preserved city wall, is highly recommended. The city wall with its moat, gates and towers dating back to the 13th century is preserved in its original condition.

The old part of town is in large part closed for cars, making sightseeing among the romantic half-timbering houses in Ahrweiler easier.

 
Bad Neuenahr
Bad Neuenahr is a spa resort with rich traditions. It’s not only renowned for its thermal springs, park and sports facilities but also its casino.

The idyllic promenade along the Ahr river beckons you to take a stroll or stay around for a while. The beautiful historic sites, such as churches and chapels, half-timbering houses or decorative facades from Germany’s Founding Epoch, are just what you might want to visit during a tour.

 
Bad Münstereifel
Bad Münstereifel is especially worth visiting. It’s a little gem, narrowly positioned in the Erft valley, with an almost completely preserved city wall. The Erft brook leaves its imprint on the town and contributes to the quaint atmosphere.
 
Discover the historic little town with its picturesque half-timbering houses along the narrow streets and lanes. You can reach the Medieval town center through four impressive city gates. Above the town lies the impressive castle.

Nürburgring
Discover the Nürburgring with its fast track variety. Experience motor sports first hand only a half hour driving distance away. In the Am Nürburgring theme park you can go back to the beginnings of car racing or try the high speed adrenaline rush yourself in the famous northern loop of the track.
